1st Petersfield Scout Group
1st Petersfield Scout Group is one of the oldest groups in the country, starting in 1908. We are situated in the heart of Petersfield, on Heath Road next to the Festival Hall. Find Us on Google Maps.
We currently have a Beaver Colony, a Cub Pack and a Scout Troop that welcomes both boys and girls aged 6 – 14 years old. After 14 the Scouts move onto Explorers which is run between various Scout Groups throughout Petersfield District and then once they are 18, they can move onto Network.

We have a dedicated team of leaders and assistants, backed up by a strong committee of parent volunteers who provide the Scouting experience to around 80 young people.

Executive Committee
Every Scout Group has an Executive Committee. Our Committee is made up of parents and friends of Petersfield Scout Group who meet every few months to discuss the running’s of the Group. The Committee plays a vital role in the running of the Scout Group and supports our Group Scout Leader with making decisions and carrying out administrative tasks to ensure that the best quality of Scouting is continuously delivered to the young people at 1st Petersfield.
